Ishkomen to Yasin Trek
Drive to Gahkuch and then to Ishkomen (4–5 hrs)
Overnight in camp or local guest house
Altitude: 2,734 m
Drive via jeep/van from Gahkuch to Pakhora, then cross to Asumber village.
Trek 5 –6 h, gaining 700 m to camp at Charinj meadow.
4 –5 h trek through pine forests, with a side trip to Tokhum Kush.
Camp at Borta Bort or base near the pass.
Cross Asumber Pass (4 500–4 600 m).
Moderate ascent, possible snow and mud; 5–6 h including descent to Mayur campsite.
Descend through alpine valleys to Sandhi or Taos in Yasin; 6–7 h trekking.
Early morning jeeps run to Gilgit via Gahkuch.
